Most people arriving by air will arrive to the Toronto Pearson International Airport, which is located about one hour drive east of Guelph. Billy Bishop Airport is located on an island near downtown Toronto. Toronto and Guelph are linked by train and by bus.

By Train

Guelph is connected to the city of Toronto and other locations through VIA Rail.

By Bus

The Greyhound Bus provides convenient transit between downtown Guelph’s Greyhound Bus Terminal and downtown Toronto and other locations. Many Toronto-Guelph trips also directly stop at the University Centre. GO Transit also links Guelph with other destinations in Ontario.

Travel within Guelph

Many locations of interest are within walking distance of the university, including the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre and the Arboretum.

For those wishing to venture further afield there are many options to explore. Guelph Transit connects the city by bus. Taxi service providers include Canadian Cab (519-824-3110) and Red Top Taxi (519-821-1700).

The University of Guelph is located approximately a 30-minute walk from the downtown area of the City of Guelph.
