Post-conference Excursion

Post-conference excursions will enable delegates to experience the natural and cultural riches of the region, as well as to network with colleagues beyond the conference. One day trip to the Niagara region has been organized. Prices listed are per person, in Canadian dollars, and include 13% HST. Those interested in self-organized touristic activities may also see our compilation of recommended things to do in the area. We hope you will come early or stay beyond the meeting to enjoy our wonderful corner of the planet.

Day Trip (Saturday August 22)

Niagara Excursion (8:30AM-10:00PM; $226.00): Niagara Falls is one of the world’s natural wonders. With the highest flow of any waterfall on our planet, the falls are a spectacular sight. Your journey begins with an IMAX presentation about the 12,000 year history of human interaction with the falls. You will next visit the Daredevil Museum and the Skylon Tower  Observation Deck for breathtaking views. A highlight of the day will be the Hornblower Journey to the Falls boat tour, which brings you close enough to get nicely dampened. This will be followed by free time in downtown Niagara Falls. Possible activities include visiting Bird Kingdom or enjoying a Fun House for those traveling with children. This exceptional day trip will finish with wine tasting and dinner at a local winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
